Last Shop Standing - Movie Premier
South Side Sneak Peak at the official film of Record Store Day.

Rock Island Public House in Blue Island will be hosting a brew and view of "Last Shop Standing." This award winning film documentary tells the story of the rise, and fall, and rebirth of record shops in the U.K. The film is not being released until April 20th but will be available to watch on Wednesday. Oh! and beer! Really good beer!

Saturday April 20 - Record Store Day
8:00 AM - Doors Open 20% Used Vinyl Sale Begins

The Record Store Day early birds get up extra early so we are openeing at 8:00 AM. Wha? Jack and Joey have not seen the other side of 8:30 since Randy's bachelor party in 1978. And that's only because they did not get home until 9:00 AM. But they will both be there to greet the die hard shoppers ( a little groggy and sleep deprived, however.)

12:00 Noon - Lunch

We don't want you to take a break from all your browsing! Did we mention the 20% used vinyl sale yet?? Beverly Records will be serving up White Castles and Aldi pop for all of our hungry shioppers. First come first serve.

All Day Entertainment - Wailin' Waylon

The country crooner is back again for 2013. Wailin' Waylon is the best Waylon Jennings tribute artist to ever come out of Midlothian. He will be singing all the favorites and taking requests.

6:00 PM - After Party

Back to the Rock Island Public House we go! the RIPH will be giving great deals on beer to those holding a Beverly Records receipt from April 20th.
